While we are awaiting the official numbers we had seen a very busy year this year on the Halifax waterfront and suspect that we had increased volume from 2017 which looked something like this ; 

• 173 cruise vessels
• 292,722 cruise passengers

I October alone we had 68 visits from cruise ships , this is counting the some of the same ships for a repeat visit but it is significant alone. We look forward to what 2019 holds for Halifax and the businesses that rely on their passengers.
